FIXED ORTHOSIS FOR WRIST – HAND – FINGER

The fixed orthosis for wrist – hand – finger ensures the limitation of movements in the fist joint while maintaining the mobility of the joints at the basis of fingers.

It is recommended in post-traumatic pain treatment, complementary treatment for stabilization of the fist joint in osteoarthritis, post-surgical treatment in diseases such as carpal tunnel syndrome, and inflammation of the wrist joint.

Description

  • Is made of thermoplastic material, lined with a towel-type cotton material, absorbent of moisture, has 3 velcro strips.
  • The plastic can be molded with warm air. Its function is to limit the wrist movement, hand and fingers as much as possible, keeping them slightly flexed at 10 °.
  • Measurements: palm width.

  • S  / 6-7 cm.
  • M / 7-8 cm.
  • L / 8-9 cm.
  • XL/ 9-10 cm.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE

For a correct adaptation of the product, it is of the utmost importance to choose the right size.

It will be pulled onto the hand so that you feel support and protection on the wrist.

It shall be fixed with velcro straps.

It has a slight abduction position of the thumb, in order for the hand to reach a correct position.
