Description
- Orthosis comprising of front and back pieces, made from plastazote with rigid thermoplastic supports and Velcro strap closures on the sides. Its upper part is designed to make full contact with the lower part of the head by means of an occipitalchin support. Its lower part rests laterally on the shoulders with the front portion situated over the sternum and the rear over the D5 vertebra. The front part of the collar features a tracheal opening. It is possible to perform X-rays while the patient is wearing the device, as it contains plastic rivets that do not distort.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE
The product should be adjusted by your orthopaedic technician or in accordance with doctor’s advice.
In order to obtain a greater degree of therapeutic effectiveness in the different pathologies and to prolong the life and utility of the product, it is fundamental that the correct size adequate for each patient or user is chosen (enclosed in the packet is a diagram with all the sizes and the equivalent in centimetres). An excess compression can produce intolerance, therefore we recommend that the compression be regulated to an optimum degree.
Measure circumference of neck.
Refer to sizing chart to select proper size.
Fit anterior component & posterior component. It’s important to maintain proper alignment of neck. Fasten the bilateral strap of neck.
The anterior component of the collar may overlap the posterior component.
Adjust for sufficient support.
