Description

The short sacrolumbar back brace is manufactured in multiband, transpirable, incorporating flexible rear stays. Elastic lateral bands for the regulation of the compression with micro-velcro fastening on velour material and finger hooks for easier fitting.

EFFECTS:

It offers a selective compression of the suprapubic abdomen area, lifting the abdomen, especially during the last few months of the pregnancy.

INDICATIONS:

  • Lumbago relief during pregnancy.
  • Mechanical effect: the regulation of the compression contributes to the control of the hyperlordosis normally found in pregnant women during the last months of pregnancy.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

In order to obtain a greater degree of therapeutic effectiveness in the different pathologies and to prolong the life and utility of the product, it is fundamental that the correct size adequate for each patient or user is chosen (enclosed in the packet is a diagram with all the sizes and the equivalent in centimetres). An excess compression can produce intolerance, therefore we recommend that the compression be regulated to an optimum degree.

To fit observe the following aspects: The function of the pregnancy corset is to maintain and support the abdomen during the final months of pregnancy, which is why it is important that the force exercised by the corset should be upwards, in order to elevate the lower stomach. 1–Position the corset to the rear (the lowest possible, extending the forward ends towards the pubis underneath the stomach). 2–Next fasten both ends. 3–Adapting the lumbosacral support. 4–The corset has 2 elastic fasteners, which can be used to obtain the required compression.
