Description
It features a breathable, lightweight fabric base with a layer of cotton in contact with the skin providing greater comfort and enabling free movement of the fingers. The palmar splint is made from malleable aluminium and it features 2 plastic dorsal supports for effective bracing of the wrist according to the desired angle. Fitting is simple thanks to the dorsal elastic fabric and closure is fast by means of trimmable Velcro straps and anti-torsion buckles.

THE PRODUCT SHOULD BE ADJUSTED BY YOUR ORTHOPAEDIC TECHNICIAN OR IN ACCORDANCE WITH DOCTOR’S ORDERS. In order to obtain a greater degree of therapeutic effectiveness in the different pathologies and to prolong the life and utility of the product, it is fundamental that the correct size adequate for each patient or user is chosen (enclosed in the packet is a diagram with all the sizes and the equivalent in centimetres). An excess compression can produce intolerance, therefore we rec ommend that the compression be regulated to an optimum degree.
It is not necessary to use tools for adjusting the orthosis. The aluminium splint can be removed to facilitate the process. Before fitting the wrist support to the patient, shape the palmar splint to obtain the desired palmar or dorsal flexion angle.
