The universal elbow shoulder orthosis provides firm support both for the elbow and at the shoulder, following a fracture or dislocation of the shoulder, collarbone, etc.

It is designed and adapted for the right or left arm, so a single orthosis is needed to treat both arms.

Description

It is made from lined textile material. It has velcro bands that ensure firm support for both the elbow and the shoulder.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE

The orthosis is completely removed.

  1. Place the forearm in the hanger part, with your hand on the heart, wrap it around your arm and hook it to the height of your collarbone.
  2. Place the elbow in the recess provided for it and secure with the wrist hook.
  3. Pull the narrow strap over the opposite shoulder and bring the side strap (wide) under the armpit, tightly encircling the thorax.
  4. Tighten the shoulder strap and secure it to the wrist with the hook.

The device is designed and adapted to fit both the right and the left side, so a single unit is required for the treatment of both of the arms.

The device must be turned around for use on the opposite arm.
